Last year we launched our National Counselling Awards which were more successful than we could have imagined, and so we are back to do it all again this year.
We are particularly keen to reward good practice in organisations that are using volunteers. Our main aim as an organisation is to end exploitation of counsellors and this shouldn’t be confused with an aim to eradicate volunteering. With this in mind, we do have a selection of awards aimed at recognising excellence within the voluntary sector too. We hope to celebrate these organisations and volunteers as examples of how things could be within our sector with the right support put in place at organisational and individual levels.
In the lead up to our 2021 awards we will be speaking to some of the 2020 winners to share their reactions to receiving an award and what it meant to them. So please do keep an eye out for those stories which will be coming to you soon.
With that said, you can now enter the awards which open today on 31st January 2021. You’ll find a link to all the information you need just below this text. We welcome anyone to make a nomination, including self-nominations also.
We are really excited to hear from you and read all about your work and/or those counsellors and services that you feel deserve recognition. *Please don’t be worried about nominating yourself. We love that pride!
Best wishes to all
